ISO Required Documents
To sort out some of the confusion around the latest ISO requirements for “Documented Information” we have put together this simple spreadsheet listing the new requirements.
To align with other management system standards the old terms “documented procedure” and “record” have both been replaced throughout the latest requirements by “documented information”.
This new structure isn’t really new. Where we used to have “documents” and “records”, we now “maintain” (i.e. document) and “retain” (i.e. record) documented information. We thought it would be helpful to provide a simple spreadsheet list outlining which documents are mandatory under ISO 9001:2015 and which are implied.
